In the summer drought of 2022 we spent 5 weeks travelling a section of the Michael / Apollo Ley - a line reaching through Europe and the Mediterranean connecting ancient sacred sites associated with the Archangel Michael and the Greek god Apollo -

With a shruti box, ukulele, tascam recorder, and audacity we recorded musical sketches based on field recordings and chance encounters along the way:

"Attuning to slowness. Navigating our small way through miles of tunnels under Alps and Apennines as lorries thunder past. The rattle of thunder and break of storm at every turn away, following as we leave, smearing heavy salt sands from the south. Michael watching from porchways, daubed in oils, clothed in stone. Paused across our path the robin, crow - and sparrow hawk, at the kitchen window at home here now, looking me in the eye. Calling normal into question"
